Enami Eyes are high quality, hand-painted, acrylic, safety style craft eyes. They are used by crafters and plush doll artists on bears, felt softies, stuffed animals, puppets, and amigurumi. Enami Eyes are painted by hand (by me) with professional grade, non-toxic, permanent paints. The colors have a depth and richness that plastic store bought craft eyes just can't beat! Enami Eyes are available in over 10 sizes and more than 55 colors including vibrant opaques, shimmering jewel tones, metallics, translucent colors, and more.

I started Enami Eyes for my own peace of mind. After numerous lead paint scares in the toy industry, I wanted a safe alternative to commercially painted eyes. Although safety eyes are not intended to go into a child's mouth, the mere handling of materials that possibly contain lead was frightening. I won't use any craft supplies for myself or with my "kids" if there is any chance it's contaminated.

• All colorants used to make Enami Eyes are certified non-toxic by the Art and Creative Materials Institute.
• All base materials used to make Enami Eyes have passed CPSIA testing requirements by the manufacturer.
